We Made It

Did you start to think we got lost on our way to
Portland, OR

We have been here a week already.
Where the heck did the time go.

I put a lots of textures on this photo. I was just playing and didn't keep track of which ones.

We have been busy, busy since we got here
mostly just spending time with family.

We are staying in a little town called Troutdale,
It's about a 20 min. drive from Portland, and the Park that we're
staying at sits right on the Sandy River.  It's a beautiful place to take walks
and ride our bikes.  And I feel so bad because I have taken almost no
photos.  Just enjoying Life my friends.

We have had rain off and on since we arrived.
And I am really enjoying it.  We are still able to get out and about most days.
And what a perfect time of year to be here, All the trees are changing colors.

I did manage to barely catch a photo of a truck load of pumpkins
crossing the bridge right by where we are parked.
I was hoping one of them would fall off.
No such luck.

My SIL races bike and we spent the afternoon out at a Dariy farm
where he was racing. It was a perfect day to watch a race.
A little bit smelly though...   It is a Dairy farm..

I do hope it won't be a whole week before I post again.
But I'm not making any promises..

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hugs~

Awesome pics. Love your gloves. It's starting to cool down here -- it was 49 last night but is warming back up to the 80s during the day, but there is a change in the air with less humidity.

That little man is so handsome. :-) So glad you made it safe and sound and that you're enjoying the camp site you've chosen. Those leaves are so beautiful. Spring has all those burst of colors with the flowers, but fall doesn't put on a shabby show itself now does it. :-)

So glad you're enjoying your time in Oregon, Linda! I visited there when I was about nine years old, and I remember it so well. It was beautiful! Someday, I really would love to take my kiddos.
