Hello

How are you doing?
I've been trying to keep up with what everyone has been up to,
but I do believe I have fallen behind once again.

On my last post I had mentioned how slow the campground was here
where we are hosting and this hosting gig was a piece of cake.
Well that all changed on Veterans Day weekend.
We were completely full.
80 Happy Campers here in Fort Worden State park.

So we were busy busy..  We didn't mind at all.
People are so nice, and most of the people who camp here have been
coming here for years. And they gave us all kinds of tips on what to do in the area.

Well here are a few photos I managed to get this week.

A couple of leaves still hanging on.

The Beach Here at Fort Worden is nice and sandy.
A bit to chilly to get in.  But I bet it's crowded in the summer time.

I really can't figure out what this guy
is eating for lunch but it was fun watching him catch it.

More fun finds on the beach.

Look what I found as I was combing the beach. It kinda look like a ring.
The scary movie "The Ring" was filmed here at Fort Worden.
Kinda spooky..

And this old boat sits right across from the campground
I LOVE the way it looks. Makes me wonder how old it is.

I have a so many more photos but it takes so much time to
go through all of them.  That will have to wait for another day.

Thanks so much for taking the time
to stop by.  And Thanks for all your kind comments
You guys are so kind..

Hugs~

Another fun and fabulous set Linda! That yellow leaf is warming me up just looking at it (it's chilly here on the Texas Gulf Coast this morning), I can't quite figure out what that seagull has either? And oh my goodness I love that ring thing you found, so very cool...and I could spend all day photographing that little boat.

So tell me my desert friend, how are you dealing with the overcast weather and rain? I believe he may be eating a shrimp, but whatever it is, he is enjoying his meal! Great photos! Hugs!

Wonderful Photos Linda! Love the yellow leaf but I especially love the old boat, its a great mystery wondering where its been and whose been in it~~ So many wonderful places to see in the area. My daughter lived on Whidbey Island for 4 years and it was such a wonderful place to explore. If you have time to go there the bridge over to the island is the most beautiful old structure and I know you would get some amazing shots!!
