We said YES.

So sorry for the break, it was totally unintentional.
Time just got away from me once again.
Since that last time I posted we have had some changes.
As you may or may not know, we are campground hosts for a state park
in Washington state.  And we are loving it.
This gig was suppose to last us one month.

Well they must like us because they asked us to stay another
two months..  OK.. Maybe its not because they like us that much.
The other hosts did not show up.  So they asked us to stay.

We may be a bit crazy but we said yes.
The problem is that we are going to miss the holidays
with our families and friends.
Insert SAD face here.

When you wake up and you see an orange glow coming through the
bedroom window, you know it has to be a beautiful sunrise.
I probably look like a crazy lady running down to the beach with
my camera and my slippers on to grab this shot.
Yes I did have my clothes on..  I'm not that crazy.

On one of our days off we took the drive out to the most outer point of
north west called Neah Bay.  It was a beautiful hike.  The views did not disappoint.

They had placed planks and logs along the path, which made
this a pretty easy hike.

In some areas you would be hiking in water if the planks weren't there.

We picked a sunny day for this hike which we were glad for that,
but it was still a chilly day, my favorite way to hike.

You end up a the ocean with a gorgeous view..
I had a hard time capturing this wonderful view. The sun was
in the wrong place to capture a great shot.

Back at the campground we put our feeder
up and we had lots of takers..  We have already had to refill it.

I leave you with another shot of that gorgeous sunrise..

We will be right here at the campground for Thanksgiving.
We will cook our Turkey outside in the Dutch Oven.
And cook all the fix'ens right here in Big Bertha (Our Trailer)

We were told the campground is going to be completely full.
That means 80 Happy campers to visit with.
Life is Good.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I am trying to
get around to visiting all of you but I am a bit behind.
But I will be by soon.  I promise.

Wishing all my friends in the states a
Happy Thanksgiving.

Hugs~

I just love reading about your adventures and seeing your photos, I think you shuld end your posts though with "Wish you were here?" to which I would answer,"sure do!"

Cindy said...

I am trying to figure out where you are. I was born in Taholah, on an Indian reservation there in that area. I remember hearing the name Neah Bay quite often, so you must not be too far from where I lived and was born. We lived in Queets, near Quinalt for several years.
Your photos are breathtaking! I know why you love it there, it is the most beautiful place on the face of the Earth, I think!
Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!
Hugs, Cindy
