It's still Friday "RIGHT"

I know I am a bit late for the party.
But better late than miss it all together.

The Party I'm talking about is Nancy's
Random Five Friday.

1.  Last week we got to have Myle's (my grandson) for 3 days before
his parents (my daughter and SIL) picked him up.
We had so much fun with him.
We must have watched the movie "CARS" at least 20 times.
Even though its a cute movie, I can go for quite awhile before I see it again.

2.  I got a new Hummingbird feeder.  I didn't put it up right away because
I thought it was too cold to for hummingbirds to be out and about.
But then I heard them buzzing around and decided to put it out.
And we already have two regulars at the feeder.
I will try to get some shots of them soon.

3.  I started a 365 on Instagram. Wish me Luck..
My Instagram name is mhplinda.
Stop by and say hi..

4.  We were on a walk last week and we saw an Eagle.
We have seen them a couple of times flying so gracefully over head.
But on this afternoon he was sitting pretty on a tree.
Such an amazing site to see.

5.  Here at the campground we had a brave young couple that
spent 4 nights in a tent.  It has been has been pretty chilly and
windy,  but they seemed to enjoy it.  They put up a tarp to block the wind.
And they had a campfire non-stop.  I guess they are pros at camping in this cold weather.

Well that's all I have for this weeks randomness.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs~

The eagle is such a wonderful treat to see! I'm still waiting for my first of season eagle. I was shocked to have a hummer whiz by my head the other day. It's been downright COLD here. I'm talking 30s and Tuesday it's supposed to be 22. I am not putting nectar out to have it freeze. Poor hummer, though.

Hmmmm....camping. Hard to even think of that now. We had a wind chill yesterday of -25. All I can think about is a warm fire!

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. xo.

Linda, how cold is it there that you were wondering about the hummingbirds? Can you tell me what you use to attract them? I'd love to put some feeders out this coming spring but I am a novice at this sort of stuff. My usual habit is tossing some bread on the ground. Very simplistic huh.

Hi Linda! That's SO cool you got a shot of an eagle during your stay here! Aren't they just so lovely to watch fly? I'd like to see a baby one sometime! The 365 on IG is fun, but some days better than others for me…I probably will slack off and miss some! Lol Lovely green photo too. Chat with you later!

LOL I know what you mean Linda, my grandson would watch the movie Fox and the Hound and Charlotte over so many times I think I knew it word for word! What a treat to have him though:) Love the eagle shot, they are always so stately. Hope you are having a great weekend and staying warm. It is 72 here today and a day with no wind finally, amazing!

No hummingbirds here, Eagles are about the only winter birds we see!
And no winter camping either.. it's been about 35 below zero here!
I would love some west coast weather. :)
Have a great weekend, Linda!

How well I remember the (Cars) movie as that was Coleen's favorite when she was about 3-4 and we had to watch it over & over & over. - Have you seen, Planes yet? Very cute movie.

Wow a Bald Eagle shot, I'm so jealous. How amazing it would be to see one that close.

Camping in a tent in this weather...crazy!

I hope you can get some good hummingbird shots! I need to get a feeder to put out this spring as well. I don't know if I could camp in the cold. I think I'd be too grumpy haha.

Oh to see Eagles that close must be heaven. My granddaughter's boyfriend lives in Dixon, IL and they have eagles frequently. I am begging to go, but right now it is a might chilly for tromping in the wilds to catch a site of an eagle. Stay warm my friend, as always lovely, lovely images!!

Fortunately it is not Friday any longer! My last week was almost over powering! I am not used to this busy of life especially after a somewhat hectic and not enjoyable Christmas. Hubby is in Mexico this week on business, so except for orders, I am getting back to a better routine! Even the cats are enjoying some peace! Linda, I always enjoy the beauty in your photo's. Glad you also got to have Myles for some love time! Happy Wednesday!
