Hello Friends

How are you?
Where ever you are I do hope you are enjoying some nice weather.
We are on the move once again.  We have pulled "Big Bertha" back to California.
We are close to San Diego and the weather is beautiful.
We will hang out here for a couple of weeks before
we head back to Arizona to my Mom's house.

I am so happy to be playing along with
Random Five Friday again.

The Five Random photos I am about to show you are very random
-just some of the photos I have captured over the last month.

I have been having fun trying to take photos of some flowers.
I pulled out my 50mm lens.  I really need to use this lens more.

 A beautiful Desert Sunrise.
And Yes I was outside in my PJ's to grab this shot.
I hope the neighbors didn't see me.

We went to a little Ghost town call Oatman.
It's a fun little town to visit in Arizona.  It's only about an hour's drive from my parent's house.
The little town is overrun by Burro's. And they are not shy at all.

Some more practice with my 50mm lens.

Here is my sisters newest member of the family.
What a cutie. But a bit difficult to get a good shot.
I was a bit nervous about jumping in the pen with them.  I
was afraid they might knock me over.

There you have it.  My Five very Random shots.
To see what others are posting you can head on over to

I also want to say thanks so much for those of you
who sent me a private e-mail about my dad.  It was much appreciated.
You are all so kind.

Hugs~

Beautiful flower shots - excellent close detail with that 50 mm. The donkeys are quite friendly and that pig is cute (which is why it is a good thing I mostly eat turkey - not a cute animal by any means --- not that I use that criteria to determine "what's for dinner" ... but...).

Oh, the florals are to die for, Linda. We have some friends who have a pig as a pet. It's a little disturbing having dinner at their house and a pig is running around the table...

Awesome photos! The flowers look so pretty and I love the burros! It's neat that they aren't shy because I would love to pet them and get up close and personal.

Still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! And sending big hugs your way.

It doesn't look to me as if you need much more practice with your 50mm ... those are beautiful shots. Just use it more because you're good! Love the Burros and the little pig. I am a sucker for animals and those were really cute pictures. I am thinking maybe you look pretty good in your pj's and maybe your neighbors would be lucky if they saw you ... This was fun. I enjoyed every picture and you comments.

Welcome back. - Great shot of the Burro's, they didn't seem to mind being photographed at all.
Cute new edition but I'm with you about getting into the pen with them.
Your floral shots were so dreamy and pretty.

Oh I've missed you! I'm so sorry for your loss. I send you prayers of healing my friend. The photos are wonderful. I feel like I could ruffle the donkeys fur. Your pictures don't look like pictures at all. You should have given your sister the camera and then hopped in the piggie pen. LOL. Bet those would have been some fun shots. Sending big hugs!

Very beautiful photo's, Linda, the animals are great, the flowers gorgeous! At least we know that burros are photogenic! That was a great shot and I would not have gotten in the pen with her favorite pig! Enjoy the warm weather. It is supposed to be stormy here this weekend, but I don't mind. Happy Saturday to you!
