Hello Friends

It's been awhile since I posted. Did you think I fell of the face of the earth. Haha..
When I last posted we were pulling out of Moab.  We have moved quit a few times since then.
Our next stop was Cortez, CO. While we were in Cortez we made a trip to Durango, CO.
We enjoyed the little town of Durango so much we pulled Big Bertha down there and stayed a
couple of more days there.

While in Durango we took a train ride.  If you're ever in the area it is a must do.
We both enjoyed it so much.

Here's a photo of one of the cars on the train.  Love the vintage feel it has.

We enjoyed taking walks in the cute neighborhoods of Durango.
I'm surprised to see the trees in bloom here.  It was so cold in Durango!

We also made a stop at Mesa Verde National Park.
Another must see.  Truly an amazing place to see.

Our next stop was Albuquerque, NM
They have a wonderful Bike path in Albuquerque which we took all the way
to the Botanical Garden they have there.  That's where I grabbed this Zen shot.
Are you feeling it.

Next Stop was Santa Fe, NM.  Such a cool city and a very busy place.
Lots and Lots of shopping and cool little places to eat.

I just love seeing all the Adobe buildings in Santa Fe.
And most of all the houses we saw were Adobe built as well. So cool to see.

Well that brings us up to date.  I think!  Hee Hee.

You know I couldn't leave you without throwing in a Macro shot.
Caught this little guy knee deep in a flower.

We are in Colorado Springs, CO right now and we will be here till next Saturday.
Our next move will be our final stop for the summer.
We will be camphost here in Colorado. We are hosting at a park that is near
Estes Park.  The campground name is Hermit park.
We will be hosting there till the end of September.
So if you are in the area stop by and say Hi..

I have been a bad blogger friend and will try to get by to visit all of you soon!.

Hugs~

Hi Linda, I was really surprised to see the flowering trees in Durango! We're still getting snow and cold in Breckenridge. (But, this week, I'm in the Sonoran Desert). Your photos are fabulous - I hope you enjoy your stay in CO.

You are really living my life, Linda, I never got to Cortez and Durango, but road the train from La Veta to Alamosa which was awesome as well! There is way too much to do in Colorado, one just has to retire there! As for Santa Fe, that church was beautiful inside and you are right about the restaurants! The shopping was fun there are as well! Happy camping my friend, have fun with the bees. You will be cold in Colorado until about August if you are lucky! You have to visit Texas if you want hot!!! Not kidding it is 91 today...much too early! Hugs!

My word, those are some beautiful scenes! This country of ours is so amazing, and so diverse. I LOVE that you share your adventures with us, so that we all can experience your journey with you! Shows me parts of the country that I will probably never see! I'll say it again, you should put out a photography book!

Linda,
Your adventures look like fun.

There is a steam engine train ride that is a tourist attraction in the Black Hills. I went on it several years ago, it's fun just to say you got to ride a train.

Thanks for posting spring pictures. I needed the extra dose of color and sunshine this morning.

Sunday was a misty wet day. This morning we have 4-5" of heavy wet snow. Yes, spring took a step backwards on us.

Safe travels, my friend!

Those pics of Mesa Verde and the Durango Silverton take me back, love. LOVE Colorado! It holds so many sweet memories from family vacations and my life, right out of college, teaching in Loveland. It's been too long. We rode the train, with Ezekiel, when I was pregnant with Adina, on our last visit. TFS! LOVE!

we loved Mesa Verde too. it was super hot & they were continuing to tell us that coyote had been sighted ... so that was a bit scary or made you nervous. we camped out in the camping area.

Linda, when I lived in Florida, they had this Train called "The Mystery Train" You could have dinner on it and then a mystery play would be acted out right in the aisle. As soon as I saw these beautiful photos this is all I could think of. Happy Friday.
