Life in Estes Park

How is Spring treating you?
Are you enjoying all the beauty that Spring brings with it?
Such a wonderful time of year.

When we first arrived here in Estes Park, CO
I thought maybe we had come in the wrong month.
Was it really May?

That's because we got a few feet of snow!!

What!!  It's May!!

We were snowed in for two days.
But I must admit I LOVED every minute of it.
We had fun taking walks and playing in the snow.

It's all gone now and we were left with all the beauty of Colorado

Yep, I do believe I am going to enjoy our time here in Estes Park.
Even if Mother Nature played a little trick on us.

I have been on the lookout for fences for Theresa's meme.
I kinda like the way this one looks.
If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen it already.

Thanks so much for stopping by my friends.
I really do appreciate all your kind comments.

Hugs~

The r.v. sitting in the wooded snowy area is just surreal. This should be framed for the day, if you ever park her for eternity.

Fancy having snow in May! Amazing - so glad you enjoyed it too - I think I would as well! We have just had a hail storm here, could be a disaster for the vineyards. Oh well, we can't change the weather. Have a lovely time where you are, Linda!

Ruth Kelly said...

Yes, that snow storm blew past Utah and right into Wyoming and Colorado. That gate with the wire looks familiar. I think it used to be a popular gate back in the day.

I'll never forget our vacation in CO Springs in May, 2010. It snowed on us! Coming from Texas, we were in heaven. :) Whether CO is snowy or green, it is absolutely beautiful. And your photos certainly reflect its beauty.

Fantastic shots.Love the blossom, the snow with the boots, the misty shots with reflections and lastly the angle you shot of the chain fence from.

Wow, what crazy weather...snow in May?? But that's kinda cool, too. Gives you a chance to see your new summer home in a whole progression of seasonal beauty. Made me wonder, though, how you keep warm in your trailer? LOVE all the beautiful photos! I truly adore seeing all the places you get to visit through the lens of your camera!

That's a fantastic gate shot! But I'll have to tell you, I am having a hard time seeing beauty in snow any more. Our winters are so long and so constant in NW Wisconsin that I was glad to wave goodbye (finally) to the snow. :-)

Just catching up on the commenting this week, Linda! I love your photo's as always and they are so Colorado as the scenes could be in some different places in that beautiful state. Colorado is like a fairyland when it snows, so magical! Hope you still enjoy it at the end of your stay! Happy weekend!

I love every one of your magical photos, Linda!! These ones are particularly awesome!!!
Can't wait to see what summer brings for you there at Estes.
Our next door neighbor's granddaughter was married there in Estes State Park just a couple of years ago. They just love it!
We've never been.. it was just out of our time reach while in vacationing in Breckenridge a couple of summers ago with the kids.
