I Can see clearly now.

I had a whole different post in mind for this week, But had to switch it up at the last minute.
After all the fog we had last week, I thought it would be the
perfect topic for this week's challenge over at

The song title this week is
"I can see clearly now"

We have had no rain since the first week we were here in Imperial Beach.
But we did get some pretty heavy fog.  Lots of it.

 Taken with my iphone

It was so crazy how fast this fog came in.  When we first started
off on our walk down to the beach it was perfectly clear.  But blocks before we got
to the ocean you could see the fog rolling in.  And by the time we made it down there
it was so thick we could barely see 20 feet in front of us.

Taken with my iphone

I know what you are thinking.  So what's a little bit of fog.
Me being from Las Vegas we didn't get to see fog very often.
So it is a kinda cool for me to see it.  As long as I don't have to drive in it.

The last couple of days we have had no more fog.

So as the song goes,
"I can see clearly now the FOG is gone."
or something like that.  LOL..

This lady on the bike was collecting seashells.
I was a little bit nervous about taking her photo because she kept looking up at me,
But I could have always said I was snapping a photo of the pier.  Right...

And Over at

OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD

It's all about Color.
I'm sharing some photos of when we were in Austin, Texas.
Once again I do believe it is perfect for the Prompt.

This is called the Baylor Street Art Wall.
But there is way more than just a wall. Graffiti is everywhere or Art or both. lol

It was an old building that had never finished being built.
And the Art begins.

Some of it is really good.

I had to climb up to get to this sign.

BE HAPPY!

It was a bit scary getting up to it. But I was up for the challenge.
We heard on the news that they were closing this down due to the traffic.
It is right in the middle of a neighborhood and has become a real headache
for the people living in that neighborhood.
I totally get that..

Well that's all for now my friends.

Here is the Links to the Meme's I'm playing along with.

Thanks so much Ladies for hosting,
It gives me something to blog about.

Hugs~

Stunning pictures. That fog is simply amazing. We get a lot of foggy mornings here the UK in the winter, but I have never seen anything like that fog.

I too am nervous about taking stranger's photographs, especially when they've already noticed me. I have perfected the, 'nothing to see here, just taking a picture of that building/bridge/tree behind you.'

I would get excited about fog along the ocean too...beautiful images, just perfect. Glad you are having such an amazing time in your "new" life journey, my friend. If you ever decide to come toward Chicago (not in the winter, ofcourse) please contact me so we can get together!!

Now that is some fog! Gorgeous pictures of it, too.
The grafitti is a great colorful contrast to it!

There is something about fog that is just so appealing, well not when I lived on the coast and I would only see the sun in
July for 45mins a day then it can be depressing. But that was before I had a passion for photography like I do now, I think I would welcome it more. Love them Linda and also seeing your pretty face is so good.

Love the fog pics, we do get it often this time of year and I can see the droplets floating in the air. My daughter is at UT Austin, and we seem to never have enough time to see the graffiti walls when we are only there for the day. But it's on my list!! Maybe one of these days I can talk the hubby into staying the night. The 3 hours there and then back again don't leave a lot of time for things in between.

As long as I'm not driving in it, I am infatuated with fog and get giddy every time it rolls in. You have a fabulous collection of pictures - what art - wow!

That fog is beautiful! But I've been driving to work in it and it really messes with traffic! Glad to "meet" you -- we live in the same corner of the world!

I also love fog and as you know, seldom see it. Agree it is much better to not have to drive in it! Love the photos and how brave you are. I don't at all like heights, so climbing is out of the question! Guess where we are going this weekend??? Hugs!

That first shot...sublime! This type of shot, of something disappearing into the fog off in the distance...always reminds me of life. So much is unseen, unwritten. Truly opens me up to possibiities knowing so much is still to be explored, seen, and determined. Love it! Thanks for joining in at Song-ography!

Gorgeous pics, love! Love that you climbed all the way up there for the shot! And those fog pics are stunning! I love the fog. There's just something so mysterious about it and the way it moves.

Now the woman is rock climbing! LOL Cool photos. We see fog here quite often but I imagine it's pretty novel for you out in the dry desert. Trying to figure out how hard it was for that lady to peddle that bike on the sand. Hmmm???? :-) Hugs!

How lovely to see everything, Linda! I love the fog or the mist, I always have. Every once in a while we have fog on I 35 but for a mile or two...kind of weird when all of a sudden you are in it and then it is gone! Have been working on wedding orders...just finished 80 tags last night! Hope you have a wonderful sunny weekend!

I am quite familiar with the fog along the coastline. :) Feels like home to me. It really is a rather unique experience, isn't it? Where I lived, in the south part of San Francisco, we'd have fog like that most of the time... and it would be like a wall... clear on one side and solid on the other. Love to see all your photos! And the graffiti art walls are super cool, too. You are brave to have climbed all the way up like that!
