So as I sit here writing this post I am thinking of all the things
I need to get done before Christmas.  The list is growing bigger
by the minute.

Every year I always say I am going to be more
prepared.  And I think I am more behind this
year than the years before.

But that's OK..
I have a sneaky feeling that everything
is going to turn out just fine!

I am thinking about throwing that list away and just winging it!
But I better not..  My memory isn't what it used to be.
I would hate to wake up Christmas morning and realize I
forgot to buy my mom a gift..  Or even worst Myles..
That would never happen..

*****

Over at City Crafters Challenge blog I am hosting
and you know I need more Christmas cards so I thought it
would be a great idea to have that as our challenge.
The only twist is that your card has to have the Big guy
himself on your card..

I have had this Santa image for a couple of years.
I can't even remember where I got him.

Yes... I added some faux stitching..
and some real stitching..

Such a jolly card if I don't say so myself..

To get all the details on this challenge you can head over
to City Crafters Challenge Blog..  While there you can
check out what the rest of the design team came up with..

Well I better go check out whats on that list
for today..  I know for sure there will be something to
do with a cute little guy!

I don't need a list for that!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Linda

Yes, I'm right there with you (in spirit!), staring at an ever-growing list while the days fly by. It's so hard to be ready ahead of time!! I think we should move Halloween and Thanksgiving until after Christmas.... that way there will be nothing on the agenda after July 4th, and we'll all be ready for Christmas and relaxing by October, LOL! Adorable card - love that stamp, and a perfectly timed challenge theme. Take care, my friend. :) Jean

I love the vintage feel of this card. :-) That is such a wonderful Santa image. All and all a truly wonderful card for some very lucky person.
Don't feel alone. I haven't done much for Christmas yet either. :-) Hugs!

Wonderful card and challenge, Linda! I always need a list because I will forget something. Last year, I forgot the cream for the soup at thanksgiving time, but fortunately the stores were open, not so on Christmas. but your right nothing is so important that one can't make do. But I love my lists this time of year! If I saved the lists, I could scrap them for next year! Have a wonderful day with Myles!

Well nice to know that I am with good company on that sinking boat!! I am just happy the water is only 3 feet deep, so we can just walk through it! I think it is just getting older that we realize it is time to catch our breath! Your Christmas card is once again adorable! Hugs to my friend!

You did a phenomenal job on the card! I love it. We are simplifying Christmas this year since our lives are changing so dramatically and I think it's okay. We're going to make it more about being together and having fun than the gifts. Peace and blessings to you!

Isn't it funny how we think we need to do a million things to get ready for Christmas and yet, if our list doesn't get completed, Christmas still comes. I like all your Christmassy photos and that stamp is cute!

Happy week to you!

What a great card Linda, and sure to make the one who receives it, smile!

I am in the same spot as you with Christmas. Not a whole lot of organization going on here, but somehow, I know it will work out. I did start my cookies 3 weeks ago though, and what could possibly be more important than the cookies??? :-)

This is a cute folksy Santa card, Linda. I am seriously low on handmade CHristmas cards this year, but I'm not going to sweat it. For the first time in many, many years, I am not planning to send cards to the 60 or so on my list. I just have to cut back somewhere. The surgery left me feeling way behind!
