Dog Tired....

Or should I say Cat tired.   That just doesn't have the same ring to it does it.
I should be in bed right now but I wanted to get this post up,
Because I know I won't have a chance to post tomorrow.

All this week I am watching a couple of young ladies.
They are my friends daughters.  So Bright and early this morning they
arrived..  Lets just say we had a full day.

1.  Watched a movie first thing in the morning...
2.  Went swimming.
3.  pulled out some paper and paint and had fun creating.
4.  Put a tent up in the living room and had a picnic inside..
5.  Went swimming again.
6.  Then I tried to teach them to knit..
7.  Mom came to pick them up and I didn't move off the couch for at least an hour.

Those girls were so fun.. I had a blast.  They had me laughing so
hard that my checks hurt.  Boy does that feel good.
So I wonder what we will do tomorrow.

This is my In-laws beautiful cat.

So I can honestly say I was Cat tired..
No...  It still doesn't sound right.

****

So it's time to show you what I created for this
weeks challenge over a City Crafters Challenge blog.

Ros is asking us to create a gift..

So I am showing you a bookmark that I made for
my girlfriend Birthday.  I also bought her a book to go with it.

Here is the other side of the bookmark.

Lots of layers here even though in the end it
is completely flat.

So to get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to
City Crafters Challenge blog.. While you are there you can check out
what the other gals made..

Take care my friend..

Hugs~

Your bookmark is beautiful, Linda, always a great gift! I love that verse, the colors and all the layers! I know what you mean about being"cat" tired, but cats don't seem to get too tired! The heat have mine wishing for winter. Tigger only lasted 15 minutes out this morning, it was 95 at 11:00 and 100 by noon! Needless to say it is going to be a hot day! Your day does sound busy, but fun. Enjoy it and then be happy to send them home because you can! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
