Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

I'm Back..
We just got back into LasVegas this morning.
I already miss all the green of Portland, OR.
And I can see why my daughter loves it there
so much.  Of course it didn't rain the whole time we were
there.  I just love the rain. But the good news is they say it
should rain here in Vegas tonight..  I will believe it when I see it.

Once again I am going to use some photos from
my trip to play along in
Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

WATER
While we were there in Portland we took a drive up to
Seattle one day to visit my girlfriend Becca.
She just moved to this beautiful city
and I couldn't wait to see her beautiful new home.
While we were there they took us out on a ferry across the bay to
Bainbridge Island. The weather was perfect to be out on the water.

PETAL
Did you know that Portland is the City of Roses?
They have millions of them all over the city.

 FRESH
You know you can't go to Seattle with out going to
Pikes Market.  So many fresh flowers and Seafood.
What a fun place to shop.

EIGHT
Nope..  I didn't get any reading done on this trip.
Between sight seeing and visiting family and friends there was
little time to relax.  Do you ever feel like you need a vacation from
your vacation..  Hee Hee...

Calm
We wanted to go through the Japanese garden
But ran out of time..  It looked so peaceful there.

Your Sunday Best
You know I had to show you a photo of Myles.
It is so hard to keep up with this little guy..
Most of the photos I got of him are blurry :(
He is one busy little guy, always on the move.

I plan on visiting you all very soon to see what I have missed
while I was gone.

Hugs~

Wonderful collection of photos Linda. I particularly like the first. I know what your mean about needing a vacation after the vacation! Of course this "after vacation" would also have to include time to savour your photos....

I love seeing others vacation pics. Fabulous set, and no I didn't know that about Oregon and the roses. I sure do love that first one, and very clever for eight.

Gorgeous photo's Linda, I love them all. The ferry brings back memories of the ferries we used to take when I was little and the rose was lovely as well, did you know that Saudi Arabia grows lots of roses to make perfume? I would never have thought it either, but found out when we lived there. The best photo of course was Myles, and of course he is busy and fast, he is a little boy! It is raining now as I type, we put out fertilizer on the garden peas today!!!!Have a wonderful Sunday!

Linda, beautiful pictures! So when is the move to Portland?? Oh and as far as the rain goes, you already know that it just sprinkles enough to leave nasty spots on the windows just washed and cars! Happy Sunday!

Beautiful images, Linda. I have to say I'm a bit jealous that you were in Portland. I miss my daughter so much. And the beauty of that city is pretty hard to beat. Next time you'll have to make it a point to visit the Japanese Gardens. I'd like to visit in the fall when the maples are changing colors. It's pretty spectacular!
