Living the Dream Part #2

Linking up with Texture Tuesday I used Sagebrush by KK at 75%

I am back today to show you what I have been up to.
I really do love it here in Boulder City.  I have been getting
up early with my husband and taking morning walks once he leaves for work.
It really is a beautiful city.  But I must get that walk in early or it gets way to hot.

Linking up with Tuesday Muse.  added texture by Nancy is Asian Influence at 100% soft light

Last week I told you I did another page in my Art Journal.
A trailer that is..  I must admit I like the first one better.
But I did have fun playing around with this one..

My girlfriends came over and they think I should take a photo of this
page and then put the photo on a canvas..  I just had to giggle and say why not
just do it on the canvas in the first place.  We shall see what I do.

Also my friends daughter Graduated from High School.
I had some fun creating this card for her.

Yep, I pulled out my sewing machine once again.

I have been busy working on another Journal page.
Its for a new challenge that is going on.  Its a Mixed Media Color Challenge.
I hope I get my page done before this challenge ends.

I want to say thanks once again for all the wonderful comments
you all leave me.  It really makes my day!

Hugs!

Oooo! I just love how you've totally rocked that monochromatic palette in your journal, and that lace banner, on your card, is perfectly divine!

It's hot here, too. I'm thinking I need to drag my kiddos out for a walk, before we even get breakfast tomorrow ;).

Everything you do is always precious...sigh♥

I love both of your "Happy Camper" journal pages! I think this one being more neutral in color has a grungy feel, so you know I love it! What a pretty card for a graduation and you are still sewing! I don't even walk anymore as in the evening it is too windy anymore! It does wear on you with the heat and dust all about! Hugs!

Beautiful work on each of these.

Your creativity continues to impress! Such beautiful work filled with color and a little whimsy.

So pretty Linda! I love the lace banner on the card. I love this trailer, because you know me I dig those neutral tones! I'm sure you'd have a lot more fun if you just did it on a canvas, and then you'd have another "original" but if you got a good enough print of it, you could do lots of stuff with it!

I wish I could take morning walks, urgh.... but when I wake up each morning, it is time for lunch! LOL!

Love the sewing on your card, so pretty. Walking in the heat is no fun Linda, but early walks can be so nice... its cold here at the moment. Must make more effort to walk our beach and find some treasures. I love, love love your photographs, they are always inspiring. When I grow up, I want to take photo's like you! :-)
