The count down is on

Hello my friends.
Hope all is well with you?

I have been busy, busy...  So I decided to give myself a Time out.
The last couple of days I did absolutly nothing.
Well I shouldn't say nothing.  I started reading a new book.
Watched a sappy love story on TV.  And took a nap.
A nice long nap.  It felt so good.

Such a wonderful way to renew the spirit.
At least for me!

I had taken this photo about a month ago.
Not my favorite photo, But I did have some fun
watching this guy play in the water.

I couldn't get too close because he had his eye on me.
I snapped off a couple of shots and then just sat and watched
him, as he tried to clean whatever that was he was trying to eat.

He finally finished and flew off..
I can just imagine him thinking what the heck was this crazy lady with
the camera doing..  Can't a guy eat in peace around here..

Well my friends even though we have been living in Big Bertha
for over three months now,  The time has flown by.  And the countdown is
on for us to leave the Vegas area and head north to cooler weather.

My Husband has only 5 days of work left.  He still can't believe it..
I am very excited for him and us!

We will be pulling out of Vegas area in 8 days.
Yikes..  Can that be right..  8 days.

I have been busy meeting friends for lunch, going out with my sisters,
and saying goodbye to our parents.  It hard to believe we will be leaving this
area..  I have lived here for over 38 years.
But we will be back in the Vegas area just in time for Christmas.

So sorry I have not been around lately.
I am hoping to catch up with what you all have been up to real soon.

Hugs~

Everybody needs a good time out now and then, my friend. I'm just so glad you have been able to take one and re-charge your batteries a little bit. You have been through a lot of changes lately, both good and bad, and you need to take care of yourself. So excited for you and hubby on this next stage!
