Hello Friends

Once again I find myself having to apologize for not being around.
I do miss it when I don't get around to visit all of you.  I Love to see what you are
all up to and what you have created.  Does that make me a busybody.. Heehee.
So I will be playing catch up once again.

You know its pretty sad when my husband blogs more than I do. Heehee...
We are here in Estes Park and what a Beautiful Place to spend the Summer.
But before I show you photos of Estes Park I wanted to show
you some photos from our last stop in Colorado Springs.

Our Campsite was in Walking distance to Garden of the Gods.
We did Lots and Lots of hiking here.

My Husband got us a bit lost on this day of hiking.
You know we couldn't stop and ask for directions.
One reason was we couldn't find anyone.
But all was good.  We found our way.

We saw lots of Magpies here in Garden of the Gods.
But they were a little camera shy.

This guy wasn't camera shy at all..
We had so much fun at the Zoo in Colorado Springs.
It brought back memories of going to the Zoo when I was a kid.

Just look at the tongue on this guy..

This little fella looks a little sad to me.  Wish I could give him a hug.

We fed the parakeets..  They seemed pretty hungry.
They started snacking on my shoes.
You had to be careful not to step on them..
Hey.  I didn't know I had a hole in my shoe..
Time to buy some new Chucks.

All the trees were in full bloom in this little town of Manitou Springs.
A wonderful place to visit if you're ever in Colorado Springs.

There you have it... a quick catch up of our time in Colorado springs.

Thanks so much friends for visiting me.
I do hope you are all doing well.

Hugs~

I went to Colorado Springs for the first time last fall....didn't make it Garden of the Gods, though. My girls and I flew into Denver, rented a car and drove down to see Compassion's global ministry center. We only had a few hours before we had to get back to Denver to meet my husband. I'd love to go back and explore the area more.

Fabulous photos, Linda. Love the one of the giraffe. Glad you managed to find your way back.

It's lovely to see where you've been and what you've been up to - maybe I'm a busybody too lol

Miss Linda,
Your Hubby has a blog too? The Rancher tolerates my blog and blogging habits. As long as I am not taking pictures while I should be working we are usually good.

I have never been to Estes Park, but have heard it is beautiful. Your pictures confirm that.

Sometimes the best of times are when we are lost and have to adventure our way to the well beaten path. Memories are made in extreme situations, some are more fun that others.

I want to feed a giraffe. I have never been that close to one before.

Have a fabulous week!

I can understand your lack of blogging as you live in such a beautiful place with so much to explore, Linda! Loving your photo's of Colorado, making me home sick. Think about you daily, thanks for visiting my blog to let me know you were still around! what is a hole in the shoe, they look fine to me...as long as your feet don't hurt, I would not worry about it! Have a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

I so love to catch up on all your photos, Linda!
When we were in Colorado, I learned that I don't do will at 9,000 ft. and that altitude sickness is no fun!
It is certainly beautiful and we got stuck in a snow storm...but I'll do with out the altitude!
xo

I love all your shots here, and that giraffe photo is just the best, also love the one with the girl feeding him. All great shots, always look forward to seeing more. We visited CO Springs 4 years ago and fell in love with it! You went to the same places we visited. I was not into birding then, but I do remember seeing some Jays that were pretty. So glad you checked in with us. Can't wait to see more photos. :)
