I have a new little friend that has made him self at home!
This new little friend has been sharing the feeder
with a gal with the crazy beak.
And she doesn't let anyone else drink from her feeder..
Call me crazy but I think they got something going on!!
If you know what I mean..

So I thought is was kinda cool when this weeks theme over
at City Crafters Challenge Blog was
Home Sweet Home..
So sweet Kirsty is Challenging us to make a project with
a bird cage and the words Home Sweet Home.
So I decided to try another mixed media page in my journal.
I had so much fun with this. I sketched out the bird free hand on
some paper and cut her out.. I can't believe she look that good!!
My birdcage is a stamp I have and I blew it up on my printer
and cut it out and decoupaged it on!
Then a whole lot of doodling and panting and rub-ons.
And I do have to say I just love her red shoes..
And I do have to say I just love her red shoes..
And Another journal page done!!
How Fun!!
I do believe he likes it also.. Hee Hee..

You project looks fantastic.
Can't get over that broken looking beak on the bird.
As an avid hummer watcher, I wonder what could have happened to that beak. I hope it's not causing problems for the hummer while eating. The ones in my yard don't like to share their food sources, so this is pretty special!
Great pictures, but I was concerned about the hummer with the curved beak, I guess it can feed OK because it looks healthy otherwise. Good work.

Wow, Linda, you're so remarkably talented. I'm amazed. You should have your own line of journals! Wow. Love the hummingbird. We still have tons of them at the house, but a cool front is set to come through tomorrow. I'm sure the numbers will dwindle, but it's time to move on. Hopefully I've fattened them up for their journey. God bless.

Lovely Hummingbird captures! I imagine the bird with the deformed bill can drink nectar, but she must have a hard time catching insects.
