Hello my sweet friends.
How is your weekend going.
I am enjoying it to the fullest. Saturday some girlfriends and I
took a 5 mile hike up at Mount Charleston..
(About a 45 min. drive from Las Veags)
I know that might not sound very far to some of you, but
it has been awhile for me and the high altitude got me
breathing pretty heavy!! And it was pretty darn cold.
But boy did it feel good. I am so mad I didn't take my camera along.
What was I thinking.
So It's that time of the week again.
Time for a little hunt.
And here is what I found.

I just love the look of Lily's. I usually don't have much luck
photographing them.. But I am pretty happy with this shot.
Found Texture

If only I knew what in the heck it was!
House
Here is a bird HOUSE that is in my back yard..
I am sure that some sweet bird would love to call this home..

That was the perfect shot for cover and he just looks so adorable Linda. I really like that natural texture you found in the flower though I haven't a clue what it is either.

Seriously????!!!??? I don't even know WHERE to begin here. Okay, yes I do...that GORGEOUS grandson of yours! That is one beautiful portrait of him. The tone, the softness...those eyes! Your macro is brilliant too. I love how you focused in on the (what are those things called?)...."center thingies"...haha. And that tree capture! I love the out of focus areas almost as much as I love the focussed areas. Just a wonderful composition all around. A great collection this week...I'm just so impressed!

Outstanding photos!! Five miles sounds like a good, long hike to me! I'd be huffin' and puffin'. :)
Hi Linda, first thank you for your visit to my blog; for taking time out of your precious day. Your pictures are SO heart warming! Your grandson is SO adorable - the tree in the uniform cemetery...what a comment on LIFE! I enjoyed seeing what is important to you. Have a good day Linda, Samara
Oh Linda your photos are so wonderful and they inspire me so much but I feel very 'inadequate' when it comes to taking photos, I would love to do better. The Texture photo is wonderful and the plant looks very much like what we call, here in Australia, a variety of Kangaroo Paw , no idea what its botanical name is: we mostly have them in yellows and orange. Little Myles is so adorable and that photo is perfect. xx
AMAZING job again- I really love that last one. We go by there a lot when we go home- it really takes your breath away.
HI! I came here from PPF, but how happy to see your fotos. I am a lover of photography as well as painting and these photos are incredible. and I SOOOO want that texture! WOW!
All photos great again, your grandson is gorgeous.
Magnificent photos my dear!
These are great photographs Linda. I love the flowers, but you know which one is my favorite. This one of little Myles is truly one of your very best. Absolutely gorgeous!
As I was going through the post, I was thinking, "Ooh, this one is good" and then "I like this one, too" and then "Wow!" You know what? I love them all! The macro (lilies are one of my favorite flowers!) and the found texture are awesome. GREAT set!

Guess who just found out they are gonna be grandparents for the FIRST time??...yep...me and hub! oh, and they want to wait to tell ...but..I can TELL my bloggie buddies rite?? lol I just did...:) hugs, me......
