Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

 Hello my sweet friends.
How is your weekend going.
I am enjoying it to the fullest.  Saturday some girlfriends and I
took a 5 mile hike up at Mount Charleston..
(About a 45 min. drive from Las Veags)
I know that might not sound very far to some of you, but
it has been awhile for me and the high altitude got me
breathing pretty heavy!! And it was pretty darn cold.
But boy did it feel good.  I am so mad I didn't take my camera along.
What was I thinking.

So It's that time of the week again.
Time for a little hunt.
And here is what I found.

Macro/close-up
I just love the look of Lily's.  I usually don't have much luck
photographing them..   But I am pretty happy with this shot.

Found Texture
This flower look so beautiful..  I just love the wonderful texture it has..
If only I knew what in the heck it was!

House
Here is a bird HOUSE that is in my back yard..
I am sure that some sweet bird would love to call this home..

Cover
You know I can't go a week without capturing my Grandson
in a photo..  He is so darn cute and my heart always skips a beat when I see him.
 Here he is under cover!!

Tree

While we were on our trip to California we spent a day
at the Point Loma Light house and on the way there we stopped at this
Cemetery..  It was such a beautiful day.
I will share more photos soon!!

Well there you have it.
I wanted to thank Ashley hosting this fun hunt.
To see all the other entries you can hop on over to her blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hugs, Linda

I love your photo's again this week, Linda! this time I can't help you with the name of the flower, but it is beautiful. Thanks for the happy mail! I got it today, although it may have come earlier in the week, I did not collect on Wed. Thurs. or Friday. I am glad I waited as it was such a nice surprise. Have a lovely sunday.

That was the perfect shot for cover and he just looks so adorable Linda. I really like that natural texture you found in the flower though I haven't a clue what it is either.

Seriously????!!!??? I don't even know WHERE to begin here. Okay, yes I do...that GORGEOUS grandson of yours! That is one beautiful portrait of him. The tone, the softness...those eyes! Your macro is brilliant too. I love how you focused in on the (what are those things called?)...."center thingies"...haha. And that tree capture! I love the out of focus areas almost as much as I love the focussed areas. Just a wonderful composition all around. A great collection this week...I'm just so impressed!

Oh Linda your photos are so wonderful and they inspire me so much but I feel very 'inadequate' when it comes to taking photos, I would love to do better. The Texture photo is wonderful and the plant looks very much like what we call, here in Australia, a variety of Kangaroo Paw , no idea what its botanical name is: we mostly have them in yellows and orange. Little Myles is so adorable and that photo is perfect. xx
