"Home for the Holidays"

What a heart-warming song "Home for the Holiday's" and
it is the tune for this weeks Meme over at Kathy's blog.

We weren't home for the Holidays
at least not our home on wheels (aka Big Bertha).
We went to Portland to my Daughters home,
so it is kinda like going home for the Holidays.
And we enjoyed every minute of it.

After all, as the saying goes
"Home is where your heart is".  And my heart was happy to
be able to spend time with My Daughter and SIL and Grandson.

And let me tell you,
Santa was good to this little fella.
He was smiling from ear to ear as he was driving this sweet little ride.

Lets just say after almost getting ran over a couple of times I stayed back.
Way Back..

I also just had to share this photo with you. This is my Daughters Dog Nala.
What a sweetheart.  It's usually so hard to get a photo of
her because she is always on the move.  But I got Lucky and caught her
while she was tired.

So do you have any plans for New Years?

Here at the campground we are full once again.
So we will be here, out and about visiting all the Happy Campers.

Life is Good.

Hello November

October flew by way too fast.
I do hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween.

As you are reading thi,s we have said goodbye to Portland, Oregon
and we are on our way to Washington State.

I don't know what we were thinking when we decided to go to Washington
this time of year.  They say it's the rainiest month of the year.
But I got me some new rain boots and I am ready.
Bring on the rain!

Not only will we be visiting friends while we are in Washington,
we will be working...  Yep you heard me right we are going to be campground
host for the whole month of November.
I'm just wondering how many people will be out camping this time of year,
I guess we will find out!

I thought I would share some random photos of our time in Oregon.
After all it  is
Random Five Friday.

Everything about this Banner makes me Happy..

I sure am going to miss this little guy.

So many leaves..
I wouldn't want the job of cleaning all these up.

My favorite part of Downtown Portland is
the Saturday Market Place and Powells book store.
If you are ever in Portland these two things are a must.

I got to go trick-or-treating with my grandson.
It was so fun to watch him get so excited to get all the candy.
He was Happy-Happy that's for sure.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I really do appreciate all your comments.

Till next time

Hello my Friends

As you can see I have a new look here on my blog.
I thought is was time for a change.  I have been wanting to make a change
here for a while.  Finally got off my rump and got-r-done.

I'm not sure I am totally in LOVE with this new look
so you might see it change once again.

Speaking about Love..

I was invited to be a guest over at
Our Beautiful World
As a guest I was asked to choose the Prompt for this week's challenge
and I chose the word LOVE.  When Kirsty asked me to be a guest the
first word that popped into my head was LOVE. I am pretty sure that
is because I am loving life right now.  I was also asked to share one of my favorite
camera tips..  So if you want to hear what that is you can skip on over and check it out HERE.

Thanks so much to Our Beautiful World for inviting me to be their host this week.

******

I am also playing along with Kathy's

The song this week is
"The Best Day of my Life"
by American Authors

Man you can really over-think this title.
I have had a whole lot of best days, but any day spent
with family ranks right up there.

We had a great time out at the Pumpkin Patch. OK maybe it wasn't the
BEST DAY OF MY LIFE
But it will be a day I truly enjoyed and will remember for a long time to come.

I have never seen so many pumpkins in one place in all my life.

So many shapes and sizes how does one choose.
It was a little overwhelming.

For me I tend to go for the little pumpkins.
I live in a small space so a small pumpkin fits in nicely.

So that's all I have for this Best Day Loving blog post.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my Orange post my friends.

Till next time

Scavenger Hunt Sunday & Song-ography

It's been forever since I have played along in
Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
So I thought I would take a stab at it once again.

M IS FOR..
Well this is a no brainer,
M is for Myles in his rain boots that his MeeMaw bought him.
Kinda hard to get him out of them now.

WHAT YOU SAW TODAY
I saw this beattle. I am thinking it might just be some
sort of ladybug.  What do you think?

CORNER
This kitty followed me from corner to corner.
I almost brought him home with me.
But I am thinking his owner would miss him dearly.

PINK
We went to this beautiful park yesterday thanks to a blog friend (Gail)
Thanks for the tip my friend a beautiful park indeed.
I know those leaves are turning red, But they look pink to me..

HANDS
It takes forever to go on a walk with my Grandson.
He stops every 5 minute to pick up something.
Usually its a stick or a rock, but this time it was a leaf.
They are so inquisitive at this age.

Linking to SHS.

And now for the Song-ography challenge
The Song challenge this week is
"Looking out Any Window"
by Bruce Hornsby

Some of you might have seen this on my facebook page.
It was taken from our Truck window just as we were pulling out
of Victor Idaho.  I don't know why but I just love the way it looks.

This fella was taken from our RV window.
I kept on tapping on the window for him to turn around but
as you can see I had no luck.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in.
It is much appreciated.

Back to Reality

But just for a little while.

I enjoyed every minute of our week long trip to
Morro Bay.

No Television, No computer,
just quality time with the ones I love.
in a beautiful place.

We don't get much fog here in the desert so it was so nice to
wake up to scenery like this. It was hard to come back to the
hot desert where the temps are well over 100 already.

We spent some of our time at the Ocean.
I can't think of a more peaceful way to spend a vacation.
Other than a little shopping.... Which we did as well.

And then there is Mr Myles.
This little guy had me laughing and Loving life.
He is at that age when he copies everything you say,
but totally messes it up, which totally sounds adorable.

My favorite thing he would say over and over was
"Meemaw..   Whatcha doing"
I have to tell you every time he would ask me that it would melt my heart.

In just about 3 weeks we will be headed up to Oregon.
So I will get to see these guys once again.
Life is Good..

I had to throw in a photo of this crab.
We saw all kinds of them when we went to the tidepools not
too far from the campground.  So cool..  And they are fast little guys.
I must of taken 100 photos of these little guys and they are just a blur.
I was just wondering what this little fella was thinking
while I was snapping off shots?

Well that's all I have for now.
I just wanted to thank everyone for all your kind comments on my last post.
You are all so sweet, I really do appreciate everyone of you who
take the time to leave me some love.

Hugs~

PS...   While I was gone my sweet friend Kirsty had a Birthday..
I just wanted to say Happy Birthday my friend. I do hope it was a great one!

Hello my sweet Friends.

It's so nice to see you once again.

Linking to Texture Tuesday.  The texture I used was awaken.

I just love this quote. I found it on a pinterest.
When I say it out loud it makes me smile.

*******

It's Tuesday once again.  So you know what that
means..  It's time to show you what I have

This week Char is our hostess with the mostess..
She is having us add woodgrain to our projects.

Of course the first thing to pop into my head
was a masculine card.  And I am not to great at creating those.

But this one came together pretty easy..

To get the details on this challenge you can hop on over to

I had lots of fun this weekend with this little one
I am pretty sure he loves his Mee Maw..

Till next time my sweet friends.

It all about the make over...

Hello my friends,
I do hope your week is off to a great start.
It is nice and cool here this morning.  We have had
a strong breeze blowing in this cooler weather.  And I am
enjoying every minute of it.  The cool weather that is, not the breeze.

In just over a week. Halloween will be here.
That means its time to pull out my witch's costume to
scare the little ones.

So do you celebrate this Holiday called Halloween?
When you stop to think about it, It really is a weird holiday.
We get dressed up and go door to door for candy.
We carve pumpkins and bob for apples.
Tell spooky stories.  Or watch scary movies.
As weird as it sounds, I love it.

So I don't know if you guys recognize this little one, but
it is Myles (my grandson). My Daughter posted this on facebook
and I stole it to show you guys how big he is getting.
They were trying to pick out their pumpkin.
He is at the age where he is just starting to say words.
I guess he kept on calling all the pumpkins apples.
How cute is that.

******

It's all about the make over.

Do you guys remember this card?  Well this is the card I used
to do my make over on.  Over at City Crafters this week Kirsty
is having us do a make over on one of our own  creations.

And here is my card all made over.
Completely different, isn't it?  But the layout is the same.
I think I still like the original better.
But hey, another Christmas card done.
Still lots to do.  I think I am running out of time.

If you would like to get all the details on this challenge
Or to see what all the other gals make overs look like
you should hop on over to City Crafters Challenge Blog.

Some more stolen photos..
I don't think they will mind.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I do hope you have a happy week.

Hello...

I really can't believe a whole week went
by already..  I had every intention of doing another post
but time just got away from me!

So its time for another challenge over at
City Crafters Challenge blog.

Cheryl is our host this week and is challenging us
to use a rose on our project.
I made this ATC for my project this week..

All us gals over at CCCB are using images again from
this weeks sponsor.

I did a lot of fussy cutting here.
And I am pleased with the way it turned out.
Including my roses..

To get all the details on this weeks challenge you
can hop on over to City Crafters Challenge Blog.

This weeks sponsor is

You could win some free images if you play along..

I have had so much fun this week with this little cutie pie.
He is getting so big.  And what a personality he has.

And he is just starting to walk..
Just seems like yesterday he came home from the Hospital.
and now he's walking... Where does the time go.

****

I am out of town for a whole week.
We took our trailer to the beach..
Our connection is not the best.
I have been trying to visit all of you.
But it takes so long for a blog to download.
So if you don't see me around for awhile that is why.
But I promise to catch up when we get home.

So Happy!!!

I don't know if you had noticed or not... I have been
away from my computer this week.  With good reason.
Some of my favorite people are visiting from
Oregon!

My daughter and her husband and Myles are here..
My little sweetie pie is turning 1.  Can you believe it?

He was already into his cake in this photo.

He's had a tough time of it since they arrived.
He has more than one molar coming in!  Ouch!!

But as long as Mom and Dad are close by
all is good.

We spent Saturday morning making cupcakes
But we bought this Big cupcake for Myles.

All in all, the party was a hit.
I'm just wondering how they are going to get all
those presents on the plane?

Lots of fun presents for "THE MAN"

She really didn't care about the cupcakes at all.
All she cared about was making sure she got to play with
this ball before someone else got it.

Here is a shot of my nephew
Showing that cutie how its done!

I only set my camera down for a minute..
Crazy girl!!

Well I do hope you had fun seeing my photos of Myles' party!
And I do hope you see why I haven't been around blogland.
But there flight leaves tonight. :(    So I will be by to visit real soon!

Hugs, Linda
