There's a Party Going On

turns three years old.

Can you believe it.  How exciting. So to celebrate
they are having a blog hop. And there are all sorts of prizes up for grabs.

Not only is there a Blog hop going on, but each member of the Design team is
giving away a prize.  So there are 7 prizes up for grabs this week.

How AMAZING is that!

Here is the Birthday card I made for this week's celebration.
I do hope you play along with us.

So here is the order of the hop

           Linda (that's me)

You need to stop by each blog and find the highlighted word.
Then form a sentence with the words from each blog.
Then head back to CCCB to e-mail that sentence to win a prize.

My giveaway is below.

Lots of fun crafty items to play with..
just leave me a comment to have a chance to win.

To get all the details on this week's celebration
head on over to City Crafters Challenge Blog.  They will
give you the whole scoop on how to win some
AMAZING prizes.

Now for some sad but happy news.
With all the changes going on in my life right now
I have decided to step down from the design team
at City Crafters Challenge Blog.   I can't tell you how
much joy I have had from being on this team for the last three years
and I have met some life long friends.  I will miss it dearly.
Creating is a part of who I am, so I will continue to be
creative just in different outlets..

It was going to be way too hard to carry all those
crafting supplies in the RV with me. LOL..

The Happy news is they have a wonderful and talented
Gal who has joined the team. Her name is Wendy and her work is
AMAZING.

Wishing CCCB an wonderful year ahead.
I will miss all of you.  But I will still be visiting all your blogs.

You Felt it...

Here is a photo of the little hummer that loves to hang out in my Chase tree..
This is where he sits all day long guarding his feeder.
I hope you don't get to tired of seeing photo of this little fella.
He's the only thing worth photographing in my backyard lately.

I just love all the different colors of this little fella.
It's always fun to sit and watch him.

Onto this weeks challenge over at

Ros is our host this week and is asking us to add some felt to our project.
"YOU FELT IT"

So here is a CAS card I made with a pretty little felt flower on it.
I also used some washi tape.  This is one of the first times I have
used washi tape on a card.  I am going to have to use it more often.

I has so much fun with the first card I make another one.
Don't you just love the green polka-dot washi tape I used on this card.

We have a great sponsor this week.
Hop on over to CCCB and get all the details.

Before I go I just wanted to say thanks so much for all your kind comments.
They really did bring my spirits up..   You guys are the best!

I go get my stitches out of my ear today and tomorrow I will get the
stitches out from on top of my head. YEA!

Again thanks for all the wonderful comments.
They mean the world to me!

Life is busy but I wouldn't have it any other way...

Linking up to Texture Tuesday..  the texture I used is February magic edges

Hello my sweet friends.  Life has been quite busy for me lately.
But I have managed to squeeze in some creative time.
Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining.
In fact I am enjoying every minute of it.

Later this morning I meet up with a group of ladies for a fun
morning of cards.  We started playing cards at the beginning of summer
and have been having a blast.  And then after my morning card game
I meet up with another group of friends for lunch..
So lets just say I will be one busy Lady today.
But it sure is the type of busy I like.
Enjoying friends and food.
Life doesn't get any better than that.

So let me show you what I made for this week's
Challenge over at City Crafters.

I made a card, not just a card, but a yummy card.
This week Kirsty is our hostess and our theme is Bake Sale.
You have to use a Cake or cupcake you know.. something yummy
on your project.

So I made a birthday card because you can never have
too many birthday cards.

And I added stitching and buttons and flowers
you know all the things I like that make it pretty.

I just adore this image and had fun coloring it with my copics.
The Red kept bleeding so I had to color it a couple of times.
And this image is from  "A Day For Daisies".
Isn't it the sweetest..

To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to
City Crafters Challenge Blog.  While you're there you can check out
all the wonderful creations the other gals have created.

So not only am I busy today,  but tomorrow I will be packing
up Big Bertha.  That is the name we gave our trailer.
We are headed out first thing Thursday morning for another camping trip..
This time we are off to Zion National Park.
I am really looking forward to it.

I will do my best to keep up with whats going on with
all of you.  But if I run out of time I promise I will catch up soon.

All That Glitters.....

Good Morning..  How is everyone doing?  Well I hope!
I am back this morning with my card for City Crafter weekly challenge.

Ros is asking us to use Silver and Gold on our card..
I don't know why but when I first read this my first thought was
that song from the Christmas movie Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer..
You know the song.. Silver and Gold... Silver and Gold..
OK that's all the word I know from that song!!  Hee Hee!!
Maybe I need some more coffee!

So Here is what I came up with!!

A Sparkly Silver Crown and a Gold Pin and Button!

This Challenge was a little tough for me at first..

But the minute I thought to put glitter on this crown..
It came together pretty quickly!!  As you can see from this
photo..  Glitter is everywhere!!  All That Glitters is just about everything
in my craft room..

So there you have it.. A card with Silver & Gold on it!!

Thank you Ros for the fun Challenge..

DT came up with you can hop on over to

Thursday Already...

I am always amazed at how fast time goes by for me..
I can't believe it is already Thursday..

So I am back to show you a fun little card I made for one of the
gals I work with..  Today is her Birthday!

I got this image sometime ago from Bugaboo Digi Stamps..  I just think it is such
a cute image..  Then again I think all there images are adorable.

I kinda whipped this one up pretty quick so I didn't color
it as well as I would have liked to..

I added some stitching and some punched little flowers.

(inside)

I bought her a bottle of Wine for her Birthday
so I thought this card would go perfectly!

I am linking this card up to Sunday Sketch and Stamp.
To see all the other entries you can hop on over

Thanks so much for stopping by..
I always love the company!

A Pink Little Card.....

I was going to post this earlier today but I was a little under
the weather.. Thank goodness that didn't last to long.
And I'm feeling much better now! This is a birthday card I made
for one of the lovely Ladies I work with.

I used the sketch challenge from over at Our Creative Corner,
But I didn't pay attention and miss the date!
Oh well, I still had fun making the card and
I think she will like it!

I must say I just love putting these doilies on my card,
And the little flower stamp is made by Hero Arts. I just
fell in love with it. I picked it up while I was on vacation.
Well that's all I have for right now.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

I am putting the final touches on a tag I made for
my sister. I love the way it turned out except...
why does there always have to be and except...
anyway I used decoupage and it got my tag to
wet and now it is a little lumpy.

This is a Card a made for my mother-inlaw. Her birthday is right
after Christmas, I loved the way it turn out. I hope she likes it!

This will probably be my last post till after Christmas so
I hope everyone has a Wonderful and Safe Christmas!

Mojo Monday #93

I really can't believe how fast June has gone by. I guess
we should feel lucky here in Las Vegas, Because it was the
coolest June I can ever remember. But the heat is here now.
I'm not complaining cause at least I'm lucky enough
to have a pool.
Last night I got to play a little, doing one of my
favorite things "Making Cards".
I used the sketch challenge from
This is what I came up with.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
