I've been everywhere.

Do you know that Johnny Cash song?
"I've been everywhere".  Well I sure haven't been everywhere, but I have been
enjoying the places that we have been.  Maybe one day I'll be able to see all the places
from that song.

Last time I posted we had left Zion and we were in Moab, UT.
We spent a whole week there in Moab and enjoyed it so much.
So much to do there with so many National Parks near by.
We visited Arches and Canyonlands.  Both Breathtaking parks.

We pulled out of Moab yesterday and we are now parked in a little town called
Cortez, CO.  It is the City right before you get to Mesa Verde National Park.
Our stay here won't be too long. Maybe another day or two.  Just flying by the seats of our
pants here.

Here are some random shots from our week.

The trees were in full bloom in Moab.

Our early morning hike..  Coffee is a must.
It just kept getting in the way of my shots. LOL

Here is my Fence shot for this week meme
"Good Fences" It's a nice strong fence don't ya think.

Just one of the many Arches we saw on our hike.
So much prettier in real life.

As much as I have been enjoying the scenery,
I am not a huge fan of the desert.  I think its because I lived there way too long.
So I had to throw in another shot that didn't looks so deserty.. Is that a word. LOL.

If you would like to see more of our travels you can hop on over to my
hubby's blog HERE.  He gives way more detail and more photos of where we have been.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I do appreciate all the Love you guys give me.

Any guesses on where our next stop might be?

Hello Friends.

As I am typing this we are in Moab, UT.
But Moab wasn't our first stop.  Our first stop was Zion National Park.
We have been to Zion many times.  It is a beautiful Park with lots of wonderful Hiking.
On this particular trip it was a bit cold and windy.  But in the late afternoon the
wind would stop and we were able to get in some short walks.

I do have Five photos to share with you today.
All for Random Five Friday.
Even though they aren't too random.  Most of them are flowers seen this week.

My Hubby put this photo on his blog but I wanted to share it with you here
on my blog.  Here's Big Bertha in the site we had in Zion.
What a view!!!

I brought my camera along on a walk through the little town
of Springdale. I was able to get a shot of this fence.
Perfect for Theresa's meme Good Fences.

I just love this time of the year, Blooms everywhere.
Even here in Zion.

I had some fun playing with this shot in Photoshop.
I might have had too much fun.  I think I over did it.

I even found some Tulips standing up and looking pretty.
I'm really surprised this shot even took.  It was so windy out.
Not good for taking shots of flowers.

I have no idea what these beauties are but they were
calling out to me "Take My Picture... Take My Picture....

Totally Random Shots

I am back to share with you Five totally random shots all taken this week.

We have been in 3 different states this week believe it or not.
California, Arizona and now we are back in Nevada.
And we have a lot more traveling to do. We will be leaving on
Sunday to start our journey to our next camp-hosting job.
We have a 5 month hosting job in the beautiful state of Colorado.
We are scheduled to be there on the first day of May, So we thought
we would take our time in getting up there and stop at a few
National Parks on the way.  So are you guys ready to see lots of photos
in the upcoming month..  That is if we get good phone service..
So if you don't see me around you know we have lack of coverage.
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW.

For those of you who are here for the first time, We are Full-Time RV'ers.
We have been on the road for 11 months now. Life is Good.

The sheep are back.
Not too far from my Mom's house in Arizona they have lots of farm
land..  And every spring they bring in the sheep to graze.
I kinda wonder where they are all winter long.

This little stray cat sure is a Lover.
Every time I was outside at my mom's she would follow me around.
On this particular morning she was sleeping in my mom's flower pots.

Humming Birds galore at my In-Laws house.
They Live in Arizona as well.  They are pretty well fed here
and hang around all year long.

More sheep my friends.
Right after I snapped off this shot it must have spooked them,
because they all took off running.

Caught a photo of this little guy. We were out on a morning hike and saw him
on a branch.. Ran all the way back, got my camera, and by the time I got back he
was on the bottom side of the leaf..  Ran back and got my squirt bottle and sprayed
him... and sure enough he moved back up to the top of the leaf so I could snap off a shot.
My husband thought it was so mean of me to spray him.  And kept giving me a hard time.
He didn't fly away so I think he liked it.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave
me such sweet comments.  You guys are the best..

Hello Friends

I am here to share some photo's from our trip to California.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather and had a wonderful time.

We are back in Arizona now, spending some more time with my mom.
But it won't be long till we are on the road again.

So here are my Random Five Photos for this week.

The Boardwalk at Mission Beach.
One of the places we love to walk when we come to California.
It's always so much fun to people watch here.

Just a friendly game of Volleyball on the beach.
Can these boys get some Airtime or what.

This is a photo of the Botanical Garden at Balboa park.
The pond here is usually filled with Lily pads.  But not at this time of year.
We visited many of the museums here, including the
Museum of Photographic Art, which you know I loved.

Another shot of the Lily pond from the opposite side.
I just loved the reflection here.

Another one of my favorite places to hang out is Seaport Village.
Lots of cool shops and restaurants and the view is spectacular.
That is the Coronado Bridge in the background.  It was so relaxing to
sit and look out and watch the sailboats passing by.

Oooops..
So sorry this makes six photos... not five, but I just had to share it with you.
After all, it is the first day of spring..

Thanks so much for stopping by my friends..
I do hope you all have a happy weekend.

A Look back at the Emerald City.

Before we left Washington State we had the chance to
hang out in the beautiful city of Seattle.  So for my Random Five Friday
I thought I would share some of those photos with you.

Five photos of Seattle

We woke up early and took the hour long drive over to Bainbridge Island.
That is where we caught the ferry to get over to Seattle.  It is such a beautiful drive and
the ferry ride was a treat as well..  The photo above is the view of Seattle from the ferry.

Seattle is such a walk-able city.. I just love that about a city.
We had breakfast at a cute little pub and then we went on the
underground tour.  If you have never been to Seattle I would recommend it
if you like to do tours.  Lots of History was given of the city and it is so cool to
see the city under the city.

Of course when you go to Seattle you have to go to
Pikes Place Market.  It was so nice going this time of year because it wasn't
jammed packed with tourist.

Once you are inside the market the sights and smells took over the senses.
A feast for the eyes that's for sure.

It was a pretty gloomy day which is typical for this time of year.
But I didn't mind it one bit..  I LOVE the overcast rainy feel the day had.
We made our way over to the space needle but my camera battery went dead.
So this was the last shot I got before it died.  It is Seattle's Ferris wheel.
I would love to take a ride someday.  We will definitely be back to this great city because
my BFF lives here, And she is crazy over this city.  I can see why.

I just wanted to say thanks so much for all the kind comments
on my Last Post.  You guys really are the best.  My Dad is in Hospice care
at home right now.  He is fighting the good fight. And we are here to help out anyway we can.
My Dad is such a fighter I think he might just pull out of this.

Thanks again my friends.

Hello my Friends

It seems like forever since I have posted.  And a lot has happened since the last time I posted.
We have left Washington State (insert sad face here). And we are in Arizona.
We had to leave the great state of Washington a couple of weeks earlier than we had planned.
My Dad is not doing well and I felt we needed to get back to help out if we could.

On a brighter note (insert smiley face here) I thought I would play along with
Random Five Friday.  I sure have missed playing along the past few weeks.
Or has it been longer?

1.  Before we left Port Townsend I was able to hang out at the pier for
awhile and got a shot of this guy trying to catch his balance.  I am pretty sure
he saw me with my camera and wanted to get his photo taken.

2.  We had our Wedding Anniversary at the end of January.  15 wonderful years with my hubby.
I am one lucky gal.  We were able to have a little getaway trip to California.
We took Big Bertha and went camping at the beach.
I can't think of a better way to celebrate.

3.  And you know I had to get a shot of the seagull in California as well.
It is always fun to see them all facing the sun..  It's as if they are worshiping the sun.

While in California we went to Santa Barbara.  I just love strolling down
State Street and visiting all the cool little shops.  And the weather there was perfect.
I was able snap off a shot of this Bird of Paradise.

We are at my Moms & Dads, and Big Bertha is parked out in their yard. Its nice
because we can help when we are needed but we can have our own little place to getaway when
we need to.   They have two cats and they look like twins.
I have to tell you this kitty is much sweeter than her other cat.

Well that's all I have for now.   We will be in Arizona for a bit but
we will be taking trips to Las Vegas to see our friends and family.
We have been full-time RVing for about 6 months already.
And we are loving every minute of it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs~

Some Random shots about my week.

I can't seem to get in the groove of doing more than one post
a week.  And to tell you the truth, I don't know if that will change any
time in the near future.  We shall see.  Right now I'm not going to worry about it too much.

I'm just going to enjoying the days my friends.

1.  We got some crazy wind here last weekend.  I have to tell you I don't mind the
rain at all but the wind is kinda scary when your living in a home on wheels.
This RV was a rocking and a rolling all night long.  I got no sleep at all that night.
Well the wind had finally let up and then the the fog came in.  I actually love the fog.
I really love listening to the big ships fog horns blow as they are sailing by.

2.  I had the strangest dream the other night.  I dreamed that I went to the hospital
to get some coffee.  (because isn't that where everyone goes to get coffee).
While I was there, I met Meryl Streep. Yes the Actress, and she wasn't looking too good.
She told me she had emphysema from smoking for too many years.
I felt so bad for her.  But that did stop me from asking her for her autograph.
She seemed pretty happy that I asked her for it and was happy to sign my napkin.
I was pretty bummed when I look down at it and it was all smeared.  Oh Well..
I wonder why we dream what we dream?

3.  I started reading this book that my girlfriend gave me.
A perfect choice for this time in my life.  To tell you the truth I don't mind
the Hot Flashes during the day.  But its the night sweats that get me.  They wake me
up and I can't fall back to sleep.  Oh the Joys of getting old.
So far the book is entertaining and a pretty easy read.

4. Doesn't he looks so sweet and innocent.  Let me tell you he's not so innocent.
This little fella couldn't get the bird seed out of the feeder so
he decided to eat the feeder.  WOW.  He must have been pretty hungry.
So right now I have no bird feeder.  I will be shopping for a new one soon.
I'm thinking this one will be metal... not plastic.

5.  A couple of weeks ago I told you about the new Hummingbird feeder
I had gotten, I finally caught this little guy..  He is much more shy than the
Hummingbirds back in Vegas. I had the hardest time getting a shot of him.
These beauties are call Anna's Hummingbird.
These hardy creatures are the only hummingbird to winter in northern climates.
As long as there are plenty of winter flowers to support them. (Or Feeders).
You know I am going to keep on trying to capture some photos of them.
We shall see if I can get some more photos of these beauties.

That's all I have for now my friends.
I do hope you all have a Happy Weekend.
And thanks so much for all the wonderful comments.
I really do appreciate everyone of them.

Till next time.

It's still Friday "RIGHT"

I know I am a bit late for the party.
But better late than miss it all together.

The Party I'm talking about is Nancy's
Random Five Friday.

1.  Last week we got to have Myle's (my grandson) for 3 days before
his parents (my daughter and SIL) picked him up.
We had so much fun with him.
We must have watched the movie "CARS" at least 20 times.
Even though its a cute movie, I can go for quite awhile before I see it again.

2.  I got a new Hummingbird feeder.  I didn't put it up right away because
I thought it was too cold to for hummingbirds to be out and about.
But then I heard them buzzing around and decided to put it out.
And we already have two regulars at the feeder.
I will try to get some shots of them soon.

3.  I started a 365 on Instagram. Wish me Luck..
My Instagram name is mhplinda.
Stop by and say hi..

4.  We were on a walk last week and we saw an Eagle.
We have seen them a couple of times flying so gracefully over head.
But on this afternoon he was sitting pretty on a tree.
Such an amazing site to see.

5.  Here at the campground we had a brave young couple that
spent 4 nights in a tent.  It has been has been pretty chilly and
windy,  but they seemed to enjoy it.  They put up a tarp to block the wind.
And they had a campfire non-stop.  I guess they are pros at camping in this cold weather.

Well that's all I have for this weeks randomness.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs~

Hello Sweet Friends

How are you?

I do hope everyone had a
Merry Christmas.

We took the trek down to Portland, OR and had a wonderful time.
It was so nice to share the holiday with ones we love.
Every time I see my Grandson it seems like he has grown
so much.  We had fun watching him get so excited as he opened
his presents. It really is such a fun age.

***

I really do have to apologize once again.  I have totally
neglected my blog and all my sweet friends here in blogland.
But you were on my mind,  I do hope to be a little bit better now that the
holidays are behind us.

Here are Five Random Photos that I am sharing with you,
for Nancy's Random Five Friday.
I have so many photos to go through that I don't
ever think I will get caught up.

We spend most of our time enjoying the great outdoors.
Even though it is cold outside that doesn't stop us.  We layer up and head out.

This is a Beautiful Sunrise.
It was taken weeks ago from the ferry as we were on our way to Seattle.

Yep we even get out when its raining.
Even though we haven't had as much rain as I thought we would have.

And look who we caught checking us out as we were on a walk one day.
Poor fella needs a hair cut.  You know he has to be pretty warm with a coat like that.

I just had to show you another photo of these sheep.
I have never seen such a thing.  Do you thing they are neglected?
Or is this how they are supposed to look?  Looks like major Dreadlocks to me!

And there is no shortage of these birds in the
Olympic Peninsula.  These spotted Towhee's Love hanging out at the feeder.

I know there are six photos not five..  So Sorry..

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Till next time.

Hugs~
