A whole lot of Green.
Hello
How are you? I do hope your November is off to a great start.
We are loving it here in Washington state so far. This Campground host gig is a piece
of cake in the winter when there are only a handful of campers.
We took off today to do a little exploring, one of our favorite things to do.
We ended up at a quaint little place with views that did not disappoint.
Crescent Lake is where we ended up. We had lunch in the lodge and then took off
for a hike. There were so many shades of green, it was a beautiful site to see.
My photos don't even begin to show the beauty here.
I Spy the color green.
While we were hiking, we hiked past a group of kids on a field trip.
I had to smile when I heard the teach say
I Spy the color green.
There was no shortage of green... that's for sure.
I just love to see all the moss hanging off the trees.
It gives a spooky creepy feeling as you're hiking.
A whole lot of rain happens it this part of the country.
Which I love. That explains why it is so Green.
There was no shortage of mushrooms in this area either.
I am petty excited about doing some more hiking in this
area. Really if you don't mind hiking in the rain it's the perfect time
of year to hike. The paths are pretty much empty. It's a little bit chilly but if
you have a good rain coat its not too bad.
I did grab a photo of this little guy on the trail singing his little heart
out. According to my hubby he wasn't singing he was yelling at
me to put my camera down. I still say he was singing.
Till next time
Hugs~
P.S. - That spooky building that is behind us that I showed you in my last post.. We got the keys to the building. Not so spooky inside. Just a bunch of gardening tools. Oh Well...

It sounds to me like you and your husband have the perfect job, hosting campsite, particularly nearly empty ones, must be wonderful! And the sights that you get to see as well as the experiences living in different places must be fun!
I was born on the coast of Washington state and spent nine years there, I love to visit the area, but I could never live there..They get WAYYY too much rain.

The spooky not-so-spooky place reminds me of my grandparents weathered old barn, which i just love to remember. It is gone now but would have been a great place to photograph.
Love those fungi pics!
I can just hear that Wren singing now. We used to have a family of Wrens in our backyard. I like to have never found out what was singing so beautifully. They are small, but sound so pretty. :)
