Hello Sweet Friends

How are you?

I do hope everyone had a
Merry Christmas.

We took the trek down to Portland, OR and had a wonderful time.
It was so nice to share the holiday with ones we love.
Every time I see my Grandson it seems like he has grown
so much.  We had fun watching him get so excited as he opened
his presents. It really is such a fun age.

***

I really do have to apologize once again.  I have totally
neglected my blog and all my sweet friends here in blogland.
But you were on my mind,  I do hope to be a little bit better now that the
holidays are behind us.

Here are Five Random Photos that I am sharing with you,
for Nancy's Random Five Friday.
I have so many photos to go through that I don't
ever think I will get caught up.

We spend most of our time enjoying the great outdoors.
Even though it is cold outside that doesn't stop us.  We layer up and head out.

This is a Beautiful Sunrise.
It was taken weeks ago from the ferry as we were on our way to Seattle.

Yep we even get out when its raining.
Even though we haven't had as much rain as I thought we would have.

And look who we caught checking us out as we were on a walk one day.
Poor fella needs a hair cut.  You know he has to be pretty warm with a coat like that.

I just had to show you another photo of these sheep.
I have never seen such a thing.  Do you thing they are neglected?
Or is this how they are supposed to look?  Looks like major Dreadlocks to me!

And there is no shortage of these birds in the
Olympic Peninsula.  These spotted Towhee's Love hanging out at the feeder.

I know there are six photos not five..  So Sorry..

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Till next time.

Hugs~

No need to apologize Linda -- I've been enjoying other things besides blogging as well -- and trying to find my way back to blogging again, somehow.

I know they have to let it grow before they can shear, but I don't know the length they have to be at... I loveeeeeee the photos! So happy you had a wonderful Christmas!!!!!

He needs sheared...but maybe that is his 'winter' coat! I'm glad you got to spend time with family for the holiday. Hope your weather stays good and you enjoy your stay. Love that towhee. We think we heard one in the forest last weekend, too. Sweet hugs!

Looks like the sheep escaped the shearer for a few years.

My favorite picture today is the birdie picture. Lovely set of captures.

So glad you had a wonderful holiday. I know what you mean about your grandson looking bigger the next time you see him. It's happening to me too. When he was here everyday I didn't see it but now I do. They are turning into young men. Oh my, those sheep are fabulous. They ought to have a campaign called "Thank a Sheep" somewhere where they sell woolen items. LOL

So glad you had a wonderful Christmas. There is nothing quite like having little ones around at this time of year.

I just love these photos, and I could really use a "coat" like that. It's cooooold here!

Lovely photos Linda and it looks like you're my near neighbour. I live in Vancouver BC; except when I don't and them I'm in Oxfordshire UK. I love the towhees.Do you feed them? I do, well, not just them, anything else that wants feeding. One time I had the worst migraine and a towhee was doing that high-pitched tweet they do. You know the one? Ugh, he kept it up for hours. But that was just that one guy. I'm happy you wrote that you had a lovely Christmas; ours was wonderful too. :)

Fun photo shots Linda, it is always great to see you have a new post, Dolce and I went shopping 2 days ago and I thought about you, I told her that "when my friend Linda lived here in Las Vegas, she and I would meet up regularly for lunch and shopping" I just missed those days!

Christmas really is so much more special when you have little ones.

Oh my stars - that is one crazy looking sheep! Needing a haircut indeed! I've NEVER seen a sheep like that. It does make you wonder if they are supposed to have such a heavy coat. How can it walk?

Hmmm...

Wishing you a beautiful weekend Linda!

Never apologize for stepping away from your blog. It means you're enjoying life and the world "too much". Blogs wait for you. They don't spoil.

I love that first sheep photo. That's classic. Also that lead shot of the leaf. That light is delicious.

BTW....no you won't ever catch up on the photos. Been there-trust me.

Your photos are fab!I love the bird capture, but feel really sorry for the neglected sheep. They will surely have skin ailments due to (tics) under their wool.

So glad you enjoyed your Christmas Linda, and hope you have a very happy and healthy New Year also.

Such great photos! I always love to see the world through your lens...although I have to admit, I'm glad to see the rainy days only through my screen. I don't think I would dare to get out in it, if I could help it! ;)
