Hello friends

It's Friday once again.  Don't you just Love Fridays.
Even though I really don't work anymore, I always remember how
excited I would get when Friday rolled around.

I am playing along with random five Friday once again.
Just some randomness that happen during the last week.

The Campground has been pretty quiet this week.
The last couple of days have been cold and windy.
But I am not complaining after seeing what the rest of the
country had been going through.

We made it to a couple of museums this week and they are both right here at Ft. Worden.
The Commanding Officers House and the Artillery museum.
I really enjoyed seeing the Officers House.
It's fun to imagine them living here back in the early 1900s.
The Artillery museum was all about the Guns they used here at the Fort.
Something that I was not to interested in, But my hubby enjoyed it.

We also took a little road trip to a little town called Bainbridge.
On the way there we notice a street vendor selling these yummy treats.
She called them Lumpia.  They tasted just like an Egg roll to me.
So yummy.

We really enjoyed Bainbridge. Lots of cute little shops and cafes.
And while we were there we strolled down to the marina.
A cold but beautiful day.

It has been crazy windy here the last two days and we have been stuck inside a bit more
than usual, So this is what hubby has been doing to keep busy.
Kinda scary I know.

Well I do hope everyone is doing well.
And for those of you stuck in the Arctic polar blast I do hope you have a
little relief by now.

I got some exciting news yesterday.
My Daughter is letting me steal my Grandson for
a whopping 4 days.  Yes I am excited.

Till Next Time.

Hugs~

How nice that will be for you to have your grandson a whole 4 days. He might get the traveling bug too. Could you imagine a summer escape with him along? At least your hubby has found a good use for a dollar bill because there is not much else you can do with it these days. Safe travels!

Sounds like a fun four days ahead. The water looks so cold but maybe that's because it is cold here. Always enjoy your photos.

I don't think I'd be too jazzed about going to a gun museum, either. However, the rest of your trip sounded really great. Glad you had a good time even though it was cold weather.

Beautiful as always, Linda, sorry you are experiencing some cold! Don't you think there ought to be a way to Hawaii in your camper? LOL! We are finally at a balmy, rainy 63 this morning...the 20's was getting old! Have a wonderful Friday...I am like you Friday is relief after a longish week even though I am no longer employed...notice I did not say work!

fantastic photos-you do, do your camera proud. One of the best food things at one of my jobs was having a group of Filipino women co-workers that brought in their version of the Chinese spring roll, they were as good as your photo! Plus having your GS for 4 days, what fun!

Always love your photos, my friend! It's so fun to visit places I've never seen through your camera lens. A couple of my old high school friends now live in Bainbridge, so it was super fun to see your photo of the marina. SO pretty! And SO glad you get to steal your grandson for a few days. Enjoy!

Glad you are enjoying your trip. Nice set of pictures today! The boats at dock is my favorite image.

Grandma time, yeah for you.

Our polar blast is past us. Yesterday was in the mid to upper 30s. Sounds like more nice days ahead.

What a neat name you have given your blog, I love it! The picture of the marina is gorgeous. Boats were such a big part of my life until we moved here to desert mountains. No water around here.

May I just say your photo's this week are exceptionally wonderful. So loved the shot of the Museum and the Marina.
I know "Guns" aren't my thing either but I do think it would be fun to tour the museums.
Origami art is fun (although I'm not good at it)looks like your hubby is though.
Have fun with your Grandson.

Glad you got over to Bainbridge Island again, we love visiting there. Hope you'll get to see it in the summer sometime. It's quite the summer harbor town! Hey, did you know that the town is actually called Winslow? The lumpia is SO good, our Filipino neighbors in LV would occasionally make some & share with us! Hope that crazy wind is over! I bet you'll have some nicer weather days when Myles is here! Chat with you later my friend! Cool leaf shot!
