I had a whole different post in mind for this week, But had to switch it up at the last minute.
After all the fog we had last week, I thought it would be the
perfect topic for this week's challenge over at
The song title this week is
"I can see clearly now"
We have had no rain since the first week we were here in Imperial Beach.
But we did get some pretty heavy fog. Lots of it.
Taken with my iphone
It was so crazy how fast this fog came in. When we first started
off on our walk down to the beach it was perfectly clear. But blocks before we got
to the ocean you could see the fog rolling in. And by the time we made it down there
it was so thick we could barely see 20 feet in front of us.
Taken with my iphone
I know what you are thinking. So what's a little bit of fog.
Me being from Las Vegas we didn't get to see fog very often.
So it is a kinda cool for me to see it. As long as I don't have to drive in it.
The last couple of days we have had no more fog.
So as the song goes,
"I can see clearly now the FOG is gone."
or something like that. LOL..
This lady on the bike was collecting seashells.
I was a little bit nervous about taking her photo because she kept looking up at me,
But I could have always said I was snapping a photo of the pier. Right...
And Over at
OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD
It's all about Color.
I'm sharing some photos of when we were in Austin, Texas.
Once again I do believe it is perfect for the Prompt.
This is called the Baylor Street Art Wall.
But there is way more than just a wall. Graffiti is everywhere or Art or both. lol

It was an old building that had never finished being built.
And the Art begins.
Some of it is really good.
I had to climb up to get to this sign.
BE HAPPY!
It was a bit scary getting up to it. But I was up for the challenge.
We heard on the news that they were closing this down due to the traffic.
It is right in the middle of a neighborhood and has become a real headache
for the people living in that neighborhood.
I totally get that..
Well that's all for now my friends.
Here is the Links to the Meme's I'm playing along with.

Stunning pictures. That fog is simply amazing. We get a lot of foggy mornings here the UK in the winter, but I have never seen anything like that fog.
I too am nervous about taking stranger's photographs, especially when they've already noticed me. I have perfected the, 'nothing to see here, just taking a picture of that building/bridge/tree behind you.'
LOVE those foggy scenes! wow! and really like the shot of you at the 'happy' signage! :)
I would get excited about fog along the ocean too...beautiful images, just perfect. Glad you are having such an amazing time in your "new" life journey, my friend. If you ever decide to come toward Chicago (not in the winter, ofcourse) please contact me so we can get together!!
Love the foggy photos. Have a wonderful day.Anesha
Love this - beautiful photos - I especially like the one of you sitting by the graffiti
Now that is some fog! Gorgeous pictures of it, too.
The grafitti is a great colorful contrast to it!
You are brave!
Wonderful photos, I especially love the foggy ones! Hugs, Valerie
I always enjoy looking at your posts and I love the photos of the fog. The one from the pier is my favorite. The best photo??? The one from you. You look so happy and relaxed! Have a great day!

Have a Nice week Linda ...love Ria...x!
There is something about fog that is just so appealing, well not when I lived on the coast and I would only see the sun in
July for 45mins a day then it can be depressing. But that was before I had a passion for photography like I do now, I think I would welcome it more. Love them Linda and also seeing your pretty face is so good.
Love the fog pics, we do get it often this time of year and I can see the droplets floating in the air. My daughter is at UT Austin, and we seem to never have enough time to see the graffiti walls when we are only there for the day. But it's on my list!! Maybe one of these days I can talk the hubby into staying the night. The 3 hours there and then back again don't leave a lot of time for things in between.
These are all gorgeous! LOVING the "BE HAPPY"!!!!!!! And we had fog here too .... it was INSANE!!!!!
Loving this great post! I truly enjoy looking at your gorgeous photos as well as I enjoy reading your input Linda... Hugs...x
Fun, all I see is how much fun you are having right now! Thanks for sharing them!
As long as I'm not driving in it, I am infatuated with fog and get giddy every time it rolls in. You have a fabulous collection of pictures - what art - wow!
Fog or not, you still take awesome photos. It's the way you compose them. Love the graffiti art. :)
Happy week ahead!
That fog is beautiful! But I've been driving to work in it and it really messes with traffic! Glad to "meet" you -- we live in the same corner of the world!
Hi Sweetie! Well fog goes with the territory round here ... especially by the open fields
I always love your photos ... they are magnificent!! Thanks so much for sharing at OBW! Have a great week!
Love the foggy photos Linda, they really capture that kinda of lonely feeling fog always give me!! The Austin pics are tooo fun and the one of you one the way is perfect :) Glad you are having a great time my friend!!
Lol, I love that you took the photo of the uhm... pier! I'm glad you didn't let that opportunity go because it's a wonderful shot. Beautiful photo dear! Wishing you a happy day ;-) Hugs xx
I also love fog and as you know, seldom see it. Agree it is much better to not have to drive in it! Love the photos and how brave you are. I don't at all like heights, so climbing is out of the question! Guess where we are going this weekend??? Hugs!
That first shot...sublime! This type of shot, of something disappearing into the fog off in the distance...always reminds me of life. So much is unseen, unwritten. Truly opens me up to possibiities knowing so much is still to be explored, seen, and determined. Love it! Thanks for joining in at Song-ography!
Hi Linda, the artwork on the graffiti wall is amazing...very colourful, thanks for sharing with OBW
Gorgeous pics, love! Love that you climbed all the way up there for the shot! And those fog pics are stunning! I love the fog. There's just something so mysterious about it and the way it moves.
Love the graffiti. Awesome colours.
Now the woman is rock climbing! LOL Cool photos. We see fog here quite often but I imagine it's pretty novel for you out in the dry desert. Trying to figure out how hard it was for that lady to peddle that bike on the sand. Hmmm???? :-) Hugs!
How lovely to see everything, Linda! I love the fog or the mist, I always have. Every once in a while we have fog on I 35 but for a mile or two...kind of weird when all of a sudden you are in it and then it is gone! Have been working on wedding orders...just finished 80 tags last night! Hope you have a wonderful sunny weekend!
I am quite familiar with the fog along the coastline. :) Feels like home to me. It really is a rather unique experience, isn't it? Where I lived, in the south part of San Francisco, we'd have fog like that most of the time... and it would be like a wall... clear on one side and solid on the other. Love to see all your photos! And the graffiti art walls are super cool, too. You are brave to have climbed all the way up like that!
Happy Valentine's Day Linda! What great photos! Local high schools and colleges have street graffiti art classes! Waving hi from sunny LA :)
LOVE your fog photos and the colorful wall ones too. YOU on top of that wall is FABULOUS! Happy Valentines Day, Linda!
wonderful photos have you here to share with us at "OBW", thank you therefore!
I love your first shot! It looks fantastic, the graffiti looks cool!
Вав! справді високо! але щоб бути щасливим, потрібно досягти висот... багато зрозуміти і багато прийняти!)))
xoxo, Juliana | PJ’ Happies :)
My goodness, you are brave to climb so high up! The fog shots are exquisite and I love how you tweaked the song to fit the meme. Clever!
I love your foggy shoreline photos . . . so pretty. A couple days ago . . . I had that song on my mind all day. I could not stop singing it :) It is a lovely song.
Have a fun and happy day.
Connie :)
