Hello my sweet friends.
It's been beautiful out. The sun is shining.
Not too much wind, perfect for drinking my morning
coffee outside. I just love this time of year.
I have been playing in my Art Journal again.
I thought since everything is in bloom I would
do some pages that felt a little spring like!
Some of these flowers I drew and some of them I punched.
I drew the fence and then cut that out also.
That took awhile. But I found it to be relaxing
and enjoyed it while listening to Kenny Chesney on
Pandora.

The background has lots of acrylic paint. Layered up
with different colors of pink.
I added a couple of buttons and little bit of doodling here and there.
So I do hope you are getting some sunshine where you are!
We are pulling our trailer out to Lake Mead again.
Just a quick little trip... The lake is only about 20 min away.
But we still enjoy it even if it is just around the corner.

Wow, I really love these pages. Great spring feeling. Fabulous idea with the buttons in the centre of the flowers.
Oh yes- the mornings have been perfect for coffee out on the porch. I am going to enjoy it while I can- before it's 95 at 6am :) I think we may get a couple more weeks before we stay in the 100's for the next several months.
